La Leona Waterfall Adventure hike
- Distance: 2km each way (1.5 miles each way)
- Duration: 3hrs total from start to finish

This tour is located in Curubandé, Guanacaste near Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. We will walk in the forest next to the Blanco River that comes from the volcano, go around incredible rock formations, cross streams of water, go up small ladders until at the very end we will pull ourselves with a rope inside the water to get into a big cave to see La Leona Waterfall.
River Tubing Adventure
- 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) of Class I , II and III rapids along this narrow, turbulent river of crystal clear waters.
- Duration: 1hr 30min.
Join us for a thrilling river tubing adventure on a narrow, turbulent river with 4km (2.5 miles) of Class I, II and III rapids! Bounce and splash your way through endless fun and excitement with our specially-designed individual rafts that include handles and protective bottoms. With our expert guides, you can rest assured that safety and enjoyment are guaranteed throughout the entire experience.

The total duration of both activities is 4-5 hours
- La Leona Waterfall: 2.5-3 hours total
- White Water River Tubing: 1.5-2 hours total
- The tour begins at our office. To ensure a tour guide is available upon your arrival, please make a reservation in advance.

- A 4-wheel drive vehicle is not required to reach our office safely.
- Free parking is available on-site.
- The parking lot is monitored during all operating hours, so you can securely leave your belongings and luggage in your car if needed.
- Upon arrival, proceed to reception to check in.
- You will start by filling out a waiver.
- You can also request a locker to store your belongings during the tour.
- Receive a briefing on the hike, including what to bring.
- After check-in, you will be introduced to your tour guide.
- Your guide will provide a dry bag and a life jacket (life jackets are mandatory for all tour participants).
- You will have access to our bathrooms, changing rooms, and showers
- Depending on which time your activity is at you may start with the hike or start with river tubing.
- You will be driven in the company vehicle to the start of your first activity.
- After that activity you will be picked back up and taken to the office. There you will have a break between your tours to have some small snacks.
- After your break is over you will head to your next activity.
- Once your second activity is over you will be taken back to the office.
- For most tours you will start with the waterfall hike.
- You will be driven in the company vehicle to the start of the trail.
- After the hike you will be picked back up and taken to the office. There you will have a break between your tours to have some small snacks, shower, and change into dry clothes.
- After your break is over you will follow your tour guide and drive in your vehicle about 5-10 minutes down the road to the next activity.
- Once the zip lining to is over you will depart from the second facility in your own vehicle.
